Benefits Analyst supporting the administration and financial management of U.S. and Canadian employee benefit programs at New Flyer, a leader in transit bus solutions.
Responsibilities
Process and reconcile monthly U.S. and Canadian benefit payments
Own benefit payment and reconciliation workflows
Partners with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and benefit vendors to resolve data issues
Support U.S. and Canadian benefits and pension audits and compliance
Support annual open enrollment activities
Develop and maintain benefits communications
Support benefits budgeting, forecasting, and leadership reporting
Participate in benefits projects and system enhancements as required.
Requirements
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, HR operations, or a related role.
Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian benefit programs preferred.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for reconciliations and tracking.
Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working with audits, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
