About the role
- Founders Associate collaborating with the founding team on financial metrics and investor readiness at nextAudit. Opportunity to engage deeply in startup operations and financial modeling.
Responsibilities
- Close collaboration with the founding team on strategic and operational finance topics
- Active contribution to financials, reports & investor documents
- Support in building investor-ready financials and KPI setup
- High ownership and steep learning curve
- Analysis and preparation of SaaS metrics (MRR, ARR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn, runway, cohort analyses)
- Support for financial modeling (forecasts, scenarios, budgeting)
- Preparation and maintenance of investor-readiness materials (pitch decks, KPI sheets, data rooms, reporting structures)
- Market, competitor, and benchmark analyses (SaaS, audit/QM, GRC)
- Support for strategic projects (pricing, GTM, expansion, tooling)
- Operational support in the founders' day-to-day business
Requirements
- Current enrollment in a university program (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data-related fields, or similar)
- Strong analytical and numbers-driven mindset
- Confident use of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas, modeling, clean structure)
- Interest in startups, SaaS, VC, fundraising & company building
- High initiative, reliability & sense of ownership
- Very good German skills (C2) & good English skills
- Availability of 15–20 hours per week
- Nice-to-have: initial experience in startups, VC, consulting, finance, or SaaS
- Basic understanding of SaaS business models
- Experience with BI tools, CRM data, or financial reports
