About the role

Responsibilities

- **Union relations**, providing legal support for collective bargaining, strikes and mediations.
- **Management of law firms and external caseloads**, including selection, contracting, governance and performance monitoring.
- **Social Security matters**, with analysis and risk management related to benefits and litigation.
- **Corporate civil matters**, supporting claims related to industrial operations.
- **Prevention and efficiency**, through the implementation of liability-reduction programs.
- **Governance and compliance**, ensuring adherence to internal policies.
- **Stakeholder management**, working closely with other departments.
- **Team leadership**, promoting a collaborative culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in **Law**, with **active OAB registration**.
- **Solid experience** in in-house legal departments and/or law firms, with strong practice in: consultative and union labor law and **management of medium- to high-volume labor and civil litigation**.
- Experience in an **industrial environment**, preferably in **metallurgy, mining, or steel**, with involvement in **multi-site** operations.
- Practical experience in **union relations**, including collective bargaining and direct interaction with unions.
- **Intermediate English and Spanish**.
