About the role
- Demand Planner responsible for establishing and refining demand plans for a leading consumer products company. Aligning forecasts with sales plans for improved service and inventory performance.
Responsibilities
- Establish and refine an item level demand plan using statistical and analytical tools
- Align the system forecast with the business sales plan to drive improved service and inventory performance
- Manage all aspects related to the 18-month demand plan for assigned accounts or customer channel groups
- Monitor and adjust the sku-level demand plan using analytical and statistical tools
- Lead the monthly collaborative planning cycle outlined by the S&OP process to achieve a consensus demand plan
- Prepare and present the strategic account demand changes, performance results, and future plans
Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferably in Business or Supply Chain
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- 0-4 yrs experience in demand planning or supply chain
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Experienced leveraging computer desktop applications (Excel, Power Point) skills
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
- Ability to build relationships and provide effective customer service (internal and external)
