Responsibilities
- As a Legal Engineer at Newcode.ai, you are the critical bridge between our customers and our product & engineering team.
- You will embed yourself deeply into the workflows of lawyers and legal teams — building a genuine understanding of how they work and where AI can make a meaningful difference.
- Translate those insights into AI-powered solutions, optimised prompts, and structured workflows that deliver real, measurable value.
- Serve as a strategic partner throughout the entire customer journey, guiding firms from onboarding through adoption, expansion, and long-term value realization.
- Act as an internal advocate for their needs and a driving force behind our AI product development.
- Bring a commercial mindset to the role — owning customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and getting your hands dirty configuring and improving the product itself.
- Drive measurable adoption by deeply understanding how lawyers work, continuously refining solutions as needs evolve.
Requirements
- Legal expertise
- Experience in a legal environment (law firm, in-house, or legal tech), and a genuine curiosity for technology’s role in enabling new frontiers for law
- A degree in law
- Proven track record of implementation of AI in the legal sector, or of driving retention, expansion, and satisfaction in enterprise accounts
- Experience facilitating workshops, onboarding, project management, and strategic account planning for customers
- You have a passion for tech, AI and automation, and you’re always eager to experiment and learn.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, evaluate AI outputs, and spot areas for improvement in legal processes
- Strong data-driven mindset
- You excel at translating between legal and technical perspectives and working with diverse teams
- High EQ and comfortable navigating C-level conversations and working with stakeholders across teams
- Fluency in English
