About the role

  • Engineering Technician responsible for maintaining and developing workshop equipment at Nestlé's Tutbury Factory. Ensuring quality and efficiency in production output and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for effectively maintaining and developing equipment and systems within the Workshop
  • Maintenance of site equipment and systems in accordance with health and safety, quality and food hygiene standards
  • Support with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of all equipment as and when required
  • Provide quick and effective reactive breakdown maintenance of site equipment
  • Effective communication with all key stakeholders to ensure departmental goals/priorities are achieved.

Requirements

  • Must have a Time Served Apprenticeship to a minimum of NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent, ideally with a Mechanical background
  • Will be self-motivated to work alone or part of a team.
  • Experience of various types of workshop machinery, including Lathe, Miller etc is essential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
