About the role
- Engineering Technician responsible for maintaining and developing workshop equipment at Nestlé's Tutbury Factory. Ensuring quality and efficiency in production output and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for effectively maintaining and developing equipment and systems within the Workshop
- Maintenance of site equipment and systems in accordance with health and safety, quality and food hygiene standards
- Support with the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) of all equipment as and when required
- Provide quick and effective reactive breakdown maintenance of site equipment
- Effective communication with all key stakeholders to ensure departmental goals/priorities are achieved.
Requirements
- Must have a Time Served Apprenticeship to a minimum of NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds or equivalent, ideally with a Mechanical background
- Will be self-motivated to work alone or part of a team.
- Experience of various types of workshop machinery, including Lathe, Miller etc is essential.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
