About the role
- Business and Financial Analyst tasked with financial and data analyses for Navitas' operations in North America. Supporting reporting requirements and collaborating with stakeholders in Burnaby, British Columbia.
Responsibilities
- Monitor financial performance of each business unit in North America
- Compile financial and operating data, perform variance analysis, and draft reporting materials
- Respond to ad-hoc information requests from Head Office
- Collaborate with marketing teams and support bi-monthly reporting
- Provide analytical and system support for budgeting processes
- Assist in preparing presentations for senior management
- Develop financial projection models for new business opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- At least 3 years of post-graduation work experience in financial reporting or business analysis
- A financial designation (CPA, CFA etc.) or in pursuance of a financial designation
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and ability to develop new financial models
- High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Legal authorization to work in Canada
- Valid passport and ability to travel internationally and domestically
