Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Development and Campaign Director.
- Responsible for the vision, design, and execution of a multi-million dollar gift planning program.
- Serve as a critical architect of campaign success to generate over $10 million in annual revenue.
- Manage a high-level portfolio of alumnae and friends to secure transformative gifts.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to fundraising teams.
- Direct strategy for the College's legacy society and manage high-level volunteer committees.
- Establish policies reflecting industry best practices and oversee relationships with external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required; a relevant advanced degree is helpful.
- Eight to 10 years of experience in planned giving or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of closing complex or blended gifts at the 6- and 7-figure level.
- Deep knowledge of the regulatory and tax framework underpinning a comprehensive gift planning program.
- Advanced proficiency in gift planning software (e.g., PG Calc).
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to engage with members of the Board of Trustees and their professional advisors on complex, leadership-level philanthropic strategies.
