About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide guidance to consultancies and supervise socio-environmental studies
- Verify the quality and compliance of deliverables through technical inspections
- Be responsible for obtaining required licenses and/or authorizations
- Support stakeholder management through meetings and follow-up
- Assist the project team in defining alternatives to reduce socio-environmental impacts
- Contribute to ensuring that construction works proceed in environmental compliance
- Support the legal team in litigation or in interactions with the Public Prosecutor's Office
- Participate in five-year planning and its monthly monitoring
- Manage environmental contracts, ensuring the project remains within the agreed scope, cost, schedule, and quality
- Ensure that lessons learned are recorded and disseminated
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agronomy, Biology, Geography, or Ecology
- Proven experience in environmental licensing and project management
- Knowledge of current environmental legislation and standards
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Proactive and able to solve problems
- Knowledge of Power BI (asset)
- Knowledge of ArcGIS (asset)
