About the role
- Join Mondelēz as a full-time Merchandiser/Order Writer, fulfilling customer merchandising needs and representing famous snack brands in retail locations. Manage stock and promotional displays effectively while engaging with store teams.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill the merchandising needs of our customers through communication & relationship building
- Stock store shelves and maintain/change displays
- Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees
- Work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of products
- Carry out in-store visits according to DSD Merchandising Steps
- Order product for shelf and display to ensure in stock conditions
- Ensure leading brands are represented, stocked, and maintained
- Communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team
- Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager
- Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches
- Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Positive and professional attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed)
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment
- Meet defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
- Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Placerville, CA
- Schedule availability required: Sunday - Thursday. Early Morning start time.
