Event Executive supporting the experiential team in planning and executing B2B events for key clients. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with a degree in Events Management.
Responsibilities
Supporting an Event Manager with the day-to-day management, including the ability to deliver a highly proactive, reactive and responsive account support.
Management of the operations, set up and events hosted in the client’s “Executive Briefing Center”.
Project support, assisting the Event Manager(s) on client briefs, preparing proposals, constructing budgets and timelines, and supporting event documentation.
Drafting of content pointers for event invite eDMs and other event related collaterals, with support from internal creative teams.
Working closely with creative teams, copywriters, printers, mailing agencies, external venues, and other 3rd party suppliers to ensure projects are executed professionally, on time, and within budget and client expectations.
Logistical management of live B2B events on an international basis.
Requirements
Educated to Degree level in Events Management or have 2-3 years organizing events in a business environment.
Strong organisational skills – be able to juggle multiple tasks smoothly, be very organised, have good time management and be in control.
Good attention to detail & writing skills – can input information quickly, accurately and thoroughly.
Comfortable with proof reading and basic copywriting.
Able to produce client facing budgets and closely track campaign costs.
Team player - happy to take instructions, but work independently and proactively when required
Confident and positive attitude – this is a client facing role that needs a happy, enthusiastic and professional person that understands how to liaise and present themselves in front of clients and suppliers within a working environment.
Self-motivated and driven - they must be committed to what the role entails, can embrace the challenges and be hungry to learn.
Calm under pressure – our working environment gets extremely busy and stressful.
Experience in virtual platforms such as (but not limited to) Zoom, Webex, On24 Etc.
Excel, Word and PowerPoint experience – a good understanding and experience in working with spreadsheets and producing proposals both in Word and PowerPoint.
