About the role
- Software Engineer Backend developing backend solutions for mobile apps using JSON/REST. Collaborating on agile projects with a focus on modern frameworks and server infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of database schemas for relational and non-relational databases
- Designing and implementing JSON/REST interfaces for mobile clients, using FastAPI and Flask (Python) as well as Laravel (PHP)
- Deploying backend software with Docker and operating the server infrastructure
- Supporting the frontend team
- Participating in agile development projects
Requirements
- Project experience with at least one SQL or NoSQL database
- Several years of experience with at least one common web framework (e.g. FastAPI, Flask, Django, Rails, Express, Laravel) — Python and/or PHP knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with Linux servers and Docker is an advantage
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills when implementing your ideas, combined with a high standard for your own work
- Experience deploying on cloud providers or on self-hosted servers
- Enjoy working independently and taking responsibility
- Team player, quick learner and enjoyment of new challenges
- Good command of German and English
