About the role

Responsibilities
- Planning and implementation of database schemas for relational and non-relational databases
- Designing and implementing JSON/REST interfaces for mobile clients, using FastAPI and Flask (Python) as well as Laravel (PHP)
- Deploying backend software with Docker and operating the server infrastructure
- Supporting the frontend team
- Contributing to agile development projects
Requirements
- Project experience with at least one SQL or NoSQL database
- Several years' experience with at least one common web framework (e.g. FastAPI, Flask, Django, Rails, Express, Laravel) — knowledge of Python and/or PHP is an advantage
- Experience with Linux servers and Docker is a plus
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills when turning your ideas into reality, combined with high standards for your own work
- Experience deploying to cloud providers or on self-hosted servers
- Enjoy working independently and taking responsibility
- Team spirit, quick comprehension, and enthusiasm for new challenges
- Good German and English language skills
