About the role
- Junior Controller supporting financial reporting and analysis for Marsh Germany. Collaborating with business managers and various departments to ensure accurate financial performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Support in preparing the monthly financial close
- Independently conduct analyses and planned-vs-actual reconciliations
- Prepare reports for the respective business units
- Responsible for measuring and evaluating customer profitability
- Planning, budgeting and cost control for various projects across our branches and business units
- Serve as an interface to all central departments within the company
- Close collaboration with our Business Managers
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in Finance & Accounting
- Two to three years of professional experience in finance
- Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Independent and proactive working style with a strong affinity for numbers
- Team player with a high willingness to learn
