About the role

Responsibilities
- Operational procurement of goods and services, including requirements planning, supplier selection and price inquiries
- Requesting and evaluating quotations, and negotiating prices, terms and delivery times
- Order processing and order placement, as well as monitoring schedules, quality and delivery performance (SCEM)
- Tracking and ensuring material availability and proactively resolving discrepancies
- Complaint management and close cooperation with Quality Assurance, Production and Sales
- Participation in strategic and optimization projects in purchasing (e.g., supplier development, cost analysis, process improvements)
Requirements
- Completed commercial training or a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field
- Initial professional experience in purchasing desirable—ideally in an industrial environment
- Proficient in MS Office; ERP experience is an advantage
- Confident negotiation skills and strong communication abilities in German and English
- Structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
- Team player with enthusiasm for collaborating with on-site colleagues
