About the role
- Financial Accounting Intern at Merz Aesthetics managing accounts payable and financial reporting functionalities. Collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial documentation.
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable: Reconcile invoices with Ariba POs and book all vendor invoices.
- Payment Run & Banking System: Prepare & upload bi-monthly payment runs and maintain bank account balances.
- General Ledger & Month End: Post all day-to-day journal entries with accuracy on SAP.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare Monthly Cash Flow Statements and maintain internal reports.
- Vendor & Fixed Asset Maintenance: Extend Vendors on SAP & creation of vendors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Applied Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in the Aesthetic, Pharmaceutical, or Medical Device industry.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems and analytical tools, such as SAP, Concur, Ariba, BA1, and Power BI.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and financial software.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
