Responsibilities
- Lead power system analysis, engineering, design, modeling, and specifications of UPS and Energy Storage Solutions
- Prepare and present technical reports, designs and proposals
- Support manufacturing, installation, and field verification of UPS Solutions
- Perform systems engineering activities driving requirements development, verification, and validation of power electronics
- Manage design of overseas partners and vendors
- Lead validation testing on new designs and products
- Compile and analyze operational, test and research data to establish performance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with design of large converters, inverters, UPS solutions
- Advanced knowledge of electric power systems
- Advanced circuit and system analysis using simulation tools (MatLAB, PSCAD, Simulink, PSpice)
- Advanced interpersonal, communication, presentation and technical writing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products.
