About the role
- Senior Accounting Clerk assisting with monthly close and accounting activities at Memorial Hermann. Handling general ledgers, reconciliations, and various accounting tasks in a supportive role.
Responsibilities
- Assists with accounting activities including; general ledger monthly close-out
- Supports accounting staff with month-end close activities
- Assists with the reconciliation of general ledger and cash accounts
- Assists in the analysis of financial information
- Maintains and organizes physical accounting records
- Assists the secretary in the coordination of office tasks
- Special projects, as needed
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors
Requirements
- Two (2) to three (3) years of accounting related experience
- Accounting clerk experience highly preferred
- Healthcare data entry experience highly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred
