Responsibilities
- Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and runway management across the company
- Ensure accurate accounting, VAT handling, and financial compliance across markets
- Build and maintain scalable financial structures, processes, and models to support growth
- Own financial KPIs, performance tracking, and scenario planning, highlighting risks and opportunities
- Translate financial data into clear insights for leadership, board, and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
- Own financial preparation for fundraising, including models, due diligence materials, and cap table management
- Support pricing models, unit economics, and commercial decision-making across products and partnerships
- Prepare financial and performance reporting for leadership and board meetings
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent experience within finance and economics
- Experience owning financial planning, forecasting, accounting and reporting in a startup or scaleup environment
- Experience in fundraising processes and investor reporting
- Experience working closely with founders and leadership teams in a fast paced environment
- Comfortable building financial structure from scratch and improving messy systems
- Advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets
