- Demand Planner in Inventory Management division at Medline. Utilizing analytics for demand forecasting and supporting supply chain improvements based in Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing data insights and analytical support for the demand forecast
- Lead the monthly S&OP Demand Review meetings
- Analyze statistical forecast exceptions
- Develop, monitor, and communicate reports on changes and forecast accuracy
- Work with business unit leadership to generate a consensus demand plan
- Assess the impact of promotions and events on demand
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BS/MS in supply chain, engineering, operations management, or math/economics desired)
- At least 2 years of prior experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, procurement, or manufacturing operations
- Hands-on experience with modeling, forecasting, analysis and simulation tools
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance and manufacturing
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at once
