About the role
- Analyze and monitor operational performance of energy assets at Matrix. Collaborate across engineering, operations, and maintenance for energy optimization and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze the performance of Matrix's operational assets, identifying deviations and proposing corrective/preventive actions;
- Develop and review operational and maintenance procedures;
- Validate incidents recorded in the Daily Incident Report;
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure asset availability and efficiency;
- Conduct failure analyses, technical reports, and performance diagnostics;
- Evaluate operational data and propose improvements focused on energy optimization and reduction of operating costs;
- Provide technical support for the integration of new projects;
- Prepare operational maneuver plans for asset interventions;
- Support technical audits and regulatory inspections;
- Interact with suppliers, integrators, and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and improve solutions.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Electrotechnical, Automation and Control, Energy Engineering, or a related field;
- Technical English (reading and interpreting manuals, standards, and documentation);
- Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel) and Power BI;
- Experience with operation of electrical generation, distribution, or transmission systems;
- Availability for occasional travel;
- Driver's license (category B).
