- Senior Software Engineer designing, building, and optimizing Matia's DataOps platform. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving technical leadership within the engineering department.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable code for Matia’s DataOps platform
- Take ownership in leading the development of core features and services from conception to completion
- Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices
- Champion continuous improvement efforts to ensure our systems are adaptable
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both development and production environments
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, etc.) to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of vast hands-on software development experience
- Proven exceptional proficiency in core technologies like TypeScript, Node.js, React, Python
- Deep understanding of high-performance SQL/NoSQL database design and K8S
- Proven track record designing and building scalable SaaS platforms or complex data-driven systems
- Experience working with message queue technologies (e.g., Kafka, SQS, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS
- Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- A passion for solving challenging technical problems
