About the role
- Experienced Systems Engineer applying systems engineering principles across the full lifecycle at Markon. Collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure technical integrity and quality in deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering principles across all lifecycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
- Interface with Government stakeholders on systems engineering considerations, addressing technical issues, risks, and conflicts.
- Communicate effectively with program personnel, government oversight teams, and senior executives.
- Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work and deliverables.
- Support one or more ISO/IEC 15288 process areas, including: Technical Processes, Project Processes, Enterprise Processes, and Agreement Processes.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 20+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
- Demonstrated experience applying systems engineering principles across the full system lifecycle
- Experience working with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas
- Proven ability to engage with Government stakeholders on technical considerations, issues, and conflict resolution
- Strong communication skills, with experience interacting with program teams, oversight personnel, and senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to ensure technical quality, integrity, and completeness of deliverables.
