Responsibilities
- Join our team and actively shape the future of our procurement as a Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) by developing and implementing innovative strategies.
- Optimize processes, select top suppliers and make a significant contribution to our company’s success.
- You will develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize our purchasing processes and drive digitization and automation in procurement.
- You are responsible for the selection of new suppliers.
- You evaluate and develop existing partnerships and lead major price, terms and contract negotiations (including framework agreements) to achieve the best outcomes for us.
- Our category management is largely based on your work, and you will actively participate in decisions regarding in-house production of components to increase our value creation.
- Thorough market and risk analyses are among your core responsibilities.
- You gather key metrics to ensure data-driven decision-making and to support our procurement objectives.
- You design tender processes and, together with other teams, make award decisions to realize savings potential and maximize procurement efficiency.
Requirements
- You have a completed degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship with appropriate further training.
- You bring several years of experience in procurement and will actively contribute to strengthening our team.
- Solid knowledge of the SAP MM module enables you to integrate smoothly into your new role.
- Business-fluent English skills help you successfully manage international collaborations.
- Strong communication and assertiveness as well as an independent and structured way of working complete your profile.
