Responsibilities
Support the research and investigations on given projects
Produce analysis, develop solutions, present recommendations, and support implementation
Drive key projects in developing strong capabilities to understand and explain earnings under IFRS17
Support valuation solutions to streamline the reporting process
Support development of tools and methods that streamline processes and reduce manual work
Build thought leadership, provide training, and create training material
Work closely with line actuaries and collaborate with other professionals
Requirements
FSA/FCIA qualification
Proactive, self-directed, and able to work independently
Detail oriented, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide audience
Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from various areas
Knowledge of IFRS17 actuarial principles (preferred)
Prior financial reporting experience and/or familiarity with US products (preferred)
