- Build and maintain a strong referral network with internal partners and external advisors
- Lead prospect meetings, contributing to needs analysis, solution design and proposal development
- Collaborate on the development and delivery of client pitches and presentations
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of a HNW private wealth offering, including financial planning and investment solutions
- Organize and lead roadshows and webinars to educate on MPW's value proposition
- Attend client and industry events to build relationships with prospects and referring partners
- Deliver a high-quality client experience from initial engagement through onboarding
- Participate in the company’s growth initiatives and strategic projects that expand market reach
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in a business development role within wealth management
- Undergraduate degree in commerce, finance or equivalent
- CFP, CFA or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation considered an asset
- Proven track record in business development, client acquisition or relationship management
- Experience with CRM platforms, such as Salesforce, an asset
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Deep understanding of wealth management products and solutions
- Highly capable of adapting approach to what is best for each situation.
