About the role

  • Finance Manager advising Latham & Watkins leadership on financial performance and strategic planning. Collaborating with teams to enhance revenue-related programs and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted strategic adviser to senior partners by having a deep and comprehensive understanding of the financial and strategic aspects of the firm as well as the broader market and industry
  • Facilitating clear and concise internal communications by delivering financial and strategic information to senior decision-makers through presentations, written reports, and informal advisory conversations
  • Developing and refining financial models, reporting, and analytics, independently and in collaboration with others, both monthly and ad hoc, leveraging firm data stores and analytic tools to identify performance trends, surface emerging issues, and deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Analyzing client performance data to identify growth opportunities and deepen key client relationships
  • Evaluating strategic initiatives by directing research on competition, markets, geographies, and areas of law, and framing findings to enable leadership action
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in economics, finance, business administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of six (6) years of experience in finance or related professional services, preferably with prior experience running revenue-related programs
  • A minimum of six (6) years of cumulative experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience leading projects or initiatives, preferably
