About the role

  • Assistant Manager, Statutory Reporting at LSEG in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Responsible for statutory and tax compliance with a focus on accurate accounting and auditing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for local statutory and tax compliance
  • Work with various business partners for accurate accounting
  • Ensure month end close is on time
  • Liaise with auditors on Statutory & SOX audits
  • Participate in balance sheet and cost reviews
  • Support in tax audits with Tax Department

Requirements

  • Accounting Graduates having core prior experience
  • 3 to 5 years of core prior experience in specific areas
  • Strong accounting background and understanding of accounting regulations
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP system, preferable
  • Experience of having participated in Audits of Large to Medium Scale organizations preferable
  • Proven ability to form strong customer relationships
  • Awareness of tax & statutory requirements
  • Efficient work ethics with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Clear and effective communication & interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English
