About the role
- Fiscal Analyst handling emission of invoices and tax compliance in Brazil. Supporting ERP processes at Lotus ICT with a focus on fiscal regulations and internal controls.
Responsibilities
- Issuance of outbound invoices (services, sales, shipments, returns, etc.)
- Configuration and maintenance of tax rules in the TOTVS system
- Posting of incoming purchase invoices in the system
- Fiscal classification (CFOP, CST, NCM, tax rates)
- Verification of applicable taxes: ISS, ICMS, PIS, COFINS, IRRF, CSLL, INSS, CPRB, when applicable
- Support in tax calculations and reconciliation with accounting
- Control and management of the monthly fiscal closing schedule
- Interface with the Projects team to validate fiscal information in contracts and deliveries
- Interface with external or internal Accounting for sending documents and supporting statutory tax filings and ancillary obligations
- Support during audits, inspections and electronic tax audits
- Organization of digital and physical tax records
- Monitoring tax legislation applicable to the business
- Support for improvements to fiscal processes and ERP automations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree completed: Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
- Previous experience with issuing NF-e, NFS-e and shipment notes
- Experience with TOTVS (tax configuration and postings)
- Posting and tax bookkeeping of incoming invoices
- Solid knowledge of: ICMS, ISS, PIS and COFINS
- Knowledge of CFOP, CST, NCM
- Experience with monthly fiscal closing routines
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience working with integrations between tax, projects and accounting teams
