About the role
- Senior Frontend Engineer at Lodgify enhancing their Frontend application built with React. Ownership of features from brainstorming to launch while collaborating with users to identify needs.
Responsibilities
- You'll help us maintain and add features to our existing Frontend application built with React.
- You’ll do more than just write code—you’ll be a true partner in building a product users love.
- You will own your work from the first brainstorming session through to launch and beyond.
- We’re looking for someone who is curious enough to talk to customers, analyze usage data, and prioritize solving problems.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years of experience with React
- You have strong foundations in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS
- You have strong Git skills and have experience working with the mono-repository
- You write unit and integration tests. Experience with interaction tests using Storybook or end-to-end tests using Playwright is a plus
- You can effectively deliver accessible, mobile-responsive, performant, and scalable solutions
- You have experience working closely with designers and can validate their ideas for technical feasibility
- Experience with Agile Principles (Kanban, Scrum)
- You have experience working with REST APIs and can set up contracts with back-end developers.
- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- You have experience working with Design Systems
- You can audit applications for accessibility issues and use WCAG specification effectively
