About the role
- PR & Communications Intern assisting the Consumer Engagement Team in managing day-to-day press office operations. Supporting influencer outreach, event coordination, and PR materials preparation.
Responsibilities
- Management of contact databases
- Harnessing the Tribe Dynamics tool for influencer outreach, tracking and content generation
- Building relationships with key UK Press and Influencers
- Coverage tracking and saving – Cision
- Compilation of post-campaign, event and partnership reports in a timely manner, evaluating the success of PR activities
- Drafting press releases and PR materials to be sent to press and influencers, including printing coordination
- Coordination and organisation of events – support the PR team with events including booking cars, couriers, organising product deliveries, meet and greet guests and supporting the team with set up and pack down
- Coordination of product orders for the press office
- Coordination of press requests and large scale send outs
Requirements
- A keen interest in the beauty industry, specifically, consumer press and social media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office programs, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to prioritise and manage time
- Attention to detail
- Ability and desire to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Strong desire to learn and develop PR & Communications skills
- Keen to build relationships with stakeholders including influencers and journalists
