About the role

  • Business Development Manager acquiring new SME clients through broker relationships in real estate finance. Involves building a portfolio of brokers and delivering tailored funding solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing a portfolio of brokers, identifying new opportunities and promoting our real estate banking solutions.
  • Delivering creative funding strategies in the Residential and Commercial Investment Term lending market.
  • Writing high-quality credit proposals and ensuring compliance with conduct risk standards.
  • Representing the bank through digital advocacy and professional social media.
  • Collaborating across teams to bring the full breadth of Lloyds Banking Group to your clients.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in banking, with a strong understanding of SME and real estate sector funding.
  • 2+ years of experience of partnering with SME clients.
  • A track record of acquiring new clients through broker and professional networks.
  • Specialist credit knowledge and the ability to tailor funding solutions to complex needs.
  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for adopting digital tools that improve client experience.
  • Strong ethics and integrity, representing the bank with professionalism across all interactions.
