Area Director leading Asset Finance sales team in our Midlands, North West and Wales region. Driving new business and developing a sales team to achieve financial goals.
Responsibilities
Leading and motivating a team of office and field based salespeople, to deliver asset finance products to both existing and new clients and achieve both financial and non-financial targets
Build & manage key stakeholder relationships - both internal (Coverage/Risk/Product/Operations) and external (Clients/KBIs/Brokers).
Collaborate effectively across SCS to assist in product development, identifying/mitigating risk and enabling wider product and business transformation as we grow.
Build and maintain an effective external network to ensure maximisation of opportunity across all channels.
Ensure common goals and strategic alignment with the wider Group to drive product offerings into our client base.
Grow product penetration by effectively introducing suitable, additional LBG products to Asset Finance clients.
Provide effective feedback to team members to assist them in their in role development and future ambitions.
Requirements
A minimum of five years’ experience in Asset Finance is essential.
Sales Leadership experience – previous line management experience, or experience in coaching, development, performance management.
Strong communication and partnering skills with experience in building and managing relationships with clients and influential partners.
Credit Analysis – Strong commercial reasoning skills with the ability to assess, analyse and interpret financial information.
Strong presentational skills including the ability to communicate with and influence key customers.
A desire to realise the potential in others, deliver excellent client service and drive growth of our wider business.
