About the role
- Legal Intern assisting the legal team with contract analysis and document preparation at LIV organization. Involvement in researching laws and handling inter-departmental communication.
Responsibilities
- Assist with reviewing, drafting, and analyzing contracts for the company's routine operations with partners and suppliers
- Assist with reviewing, drafting, and analyzing documents, policies, and internal legal requests from other areas of the company
- Assist in conducting legal research on legislation, doctrine, and case law
- Assist with sending documents and collecting signatures
- Assist in liaising and coordinating with other departments at LIV, with Grupo Salta Educação, and with public authorities
- Assist in implementing tools and other initiatives aimed at the legal department's operational processes.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Law degree program
- Have completed or be currently taking courses in Civil Law, Labor Law, and Corporate/Business Law
- Previous internship experience in one or more of the following areas: civil contracts, civil litigation, labor law, or intellectual property
- Good knowledge of Google Workspace tools such as Docs, Drive, and Sheets.
