Responsibilities
Design, develop and validate mobile hydraulic systems for our mining machines
Perform functional analyses and size hydraulic components: pumps, directional control valves, valves, accumulators, hoses and lines
Produce technical documentation: specifications, hydraulic schematics, calculation notes, control-law specifications and manufacturing instructions
Participate in testing, commissioning and acceptance of systems
Simulate hydraulic systems
Address reliability projects related to hydraulic systems and lubricants
Analyze wear patterns and failures
Integrate technical improvements into series production
Document the adopted technical solutions
Serve as the technical point of reference for lubricants used in hydraulic and lubrication systems
Write technical specifications for lubricants
Provide technical support to internal and external teams
Requirements
Engineering degree in hydraulics, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent
Proven experience in mobile hydraulics: construction (earthmoving) equipment, agricultural machinery, handling equipment or other mobile machines
Knowledge of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, power transmission systems, cooling and control systems
Expertise in mechanical lubrication: selection of oils and greases, tribology and management of lubrication circuits
Proficiency with design tools, ideally Creo, and hydraulic schematic/simulation software such as AMESim, Automation Studio, etc.
Autonomous, rigorous, able to synthesize information and well organized
Minimum B2 level in English; German language skills are a strong plus
Strong ability to work in a team with different company departments and suppliers
