Responsibilities
Planning, directing, managing and providing oversight of organizational professional design services
Directs the work of a CAD draftsman
Effectively communicates with project owners, engineers, field staff, technical staff, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and contractors
Provides internal and external coordination and collaboration with project partners and stakeholders
Develop architectural designs meeting LMC specifications and budget, and local regulatory laws
Create detailed architectural plans using CAD software
Present designs, proposals, and progress reports to end users and stakeholders
Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project
Review and manage contracts and tenders
Oversee and guide the construction process, ensuring project adheres to planned design, quality standards, and safety regulations
Manage project deadlines and budgets, and make necessary adjustments to keep project on track
Stay updated on architectural trends, technologies, and regulations
Address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction process
Lead the development of architectural designs and preliminary construction plans
Requirements
Master's Degree in Architecture or Design
10 years of experience designing acute care and medical office and procedural spaces
License to practice Architecture in South Carolina
Proficiency in design and visualization software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM
Knowledge of building and codes, requirements and regulations
