Responsibilities
- Take ownership across a broad remit.
- Work in small teams of exceptional people, who are relentlessly resourceful to solve problems.
- Build the best technology in-house, using new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting.
- Work on meaningful projects that directly influence how data is leveraged for critical business decisions for Credit Cards.
- Ensure data products are robust, reliable, intuitive, and valuable to end users across the business.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to data integrity and quality.
- Knowledge and some experience with using SQL and version control (github).
- Understanding of data warehouse concepts and/or experience (or strong interest) in designing data models.
- Willingness and aptitude to learn quickly.
- 1-2 years experience in an engineering/analytical role.
- Strong communication skills.
- Curious mindset.
- Exposure to a cloud databases (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift) (desirable but not essential).
- Experience or interest in fintech or financial services data (desirable but not essential).
- Familiarity with DBT (desirable but not essential).
