About the role
- Occupational Safety Health Analyst ensuring compliance with OSHA standards and supporting FAA safety programs. Involves inspections, training, and investigations in California and Nevada.
Responsibilities
- Ensure workplace conditions comply with applicable federal and state Occupational Safety and Health standard provisions.
- Participate in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections.
- Conduct investigations, prepare reports on injuries and fatalities.
- Conduct safe work procedures training courses.
- Support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Air Traffic Organization (ATO), Environmental, Occupational Safety & Health (EOSH) Program.
Requirements
- Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Office and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain Public Trust Security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant work experience OR Master's with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OR Associated Safety Professional is highly desired.
- Certified in Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), Asbestos Contractor/ Supervisor, AHERA Asbestos Building Inspector, Certified Lead Professional, or Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER).
- Able to meet all requirements necessary to climb structures and oversee Fall Protection Program.
- Confined Space assessment experience and program administration experience are desired.
