About the role
- Join LegalVision as a motivated lawyer (2-4 PQE) in the Commercial and Regulatory Practice. Work with NDIS providers and healthcare organizations to navigate complex regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and policies, including services agreements, privacy policies and all other business as usual documents required by our clients.
- Provide advice on client complaints and prepare response letters.
- Provide preliminary advice on notifiable data breaches and assist our disputes team with preparation of responses to regulatory authorities.
- Assist multiple client matters simultaneously, adapting to different business cultures and working styles.
Requirements
- Admitted to practise in Australia with 2-4 years' post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements and advising on commercial and regulatory matters across the medical, health and/or aged care sectors. While not required, experience with residential aged care or retirement villages would be highly regarded.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with SMEs and corporate clients.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team.
