Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements and policies, including services agreements, privacy policies and all other business as usual documents required by our clients.
Provide advice on client complaints and prepare response letters.
Provide preliminary advice on notifiable data breaches and assist our disputes team with preparation of responses to regulatory authorities.
Assist multiple client matters simultaneously, adapting to different business cultures and working styles.
Requirements
Admitted to practise in Australia with 2-4 years' post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial agreements and advising on commercial and regulatory matters across the medical, health and/or aged care sectors. While not required, experience with residential aged care or retirement villages would be highly regarded.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships with SMEs and corporate clients.
A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong commercial acumen.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a high-performing team.
