About the role
- AI/ML Software Engineer responsible for evolving AI-powered helpdesk solutions at LEAP. Collaborating with the Global Business Systems team to integrate data sources and improve system intelligence.
Responsibilities
- As the AI/ML Software Engineer you’ll evolve the intelligence layer behind AskLEAP, our AI-powered helpdesk solution.
- Design and build the retrieval and orchestration layer.
- Integrate additional structured and unstructured data sources.
- Define and implement the decision and orchestration logic behind AI agents.
- Ensure AI systems are aligned with defined business rules and deliver trusted outcomes.
- Establish reusable AI orchestration and retrieval patterns for AI-enabled products.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience
- Strong C# and .NET experience including ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, middleware, and dependency injection
- Comfortable contributing to React and TypeScript when needed
- Experience building and operating LLM-based systems in production environments
- Hands-on experience with RAG or similar retrieval-based AI patterns, including vector databases or embeddings
- Experience evaluating and improving LLM outputs for grounding, confidence, and consistency
- Experience deploying to AWS using Docker or similar cloud and container environments
- Solid understanding of HTTP, API security such as OAuth and JWT, and production performance debugging
- Working proficiency in Python for AI and data workflows.
