Responsibilities
- Design and deliver end to end web solutions that improve performance, scalability, and user experience across global digital properties
- Build responsive, accessible front end experiences that drive engagement, conversion, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and optimize back end services, APIs, and integrations that enable scalable and reliable web functionality
- Own platform features throughout their lifecycle, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and production readiness
- Drive architectural decisions that enhance system scalability, security, and long term platform evolution
- Reduce technical debt through modernization efforts that improve engineering velocity and system performance
- Optimize hosting, caching, and content delivery strategies to improve uptime, speed, and global accessibility
- Strengthen observability, monitoring, and incident response to ensure operational excellence and rapid issue resolution
- Implement secure coding practices and contribute to compliance initiatives that protect customer data and platform integrity
- Partner with cross functional stakeholders to align engineering solutions with business goals, customer experience, and growth strategy
- Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional experience in full stack web development and engineering
- Current authorization to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
- Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front end development practices
- Solid experience in back end development using PHP, Node.js, or similar technologies
- Proven experience working with CMS driven architectures, with strong preference for WordPress
- Demonstrated experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Strong understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and security
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, or enterprise hosting environments
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release automation
- Demonstrated expertise in performance optimization, caching strategies, CDNs, and scalable web architectures
- Strong understanding of web security, accessibility standards, and regulatory compliance
