About the role

- Manage and steer the portfolio in line with the crop strategy
- Coordinate with Breeding and Sales on breeding objectives and product specifications

- Evaluate trials, collect data via PD systems like Mercado
- Act as a linking pin by getting R&D, sales, and seed supply aligned
- Monitor margin development of the portfolio and advise on value-based pricing
- Travel extensively (60-70% of your time) throughout Europe and the United States to evaluate trials on site
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or similar fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the international seed industry, particularly within vegetable seeds
- Commercially driven and results-oriented with strong self-organization and proactive management skills
- Ability to work with different cultures
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Additional language(s) are an advantage
- Entrepreneurial ability to build new strategies and processes from the ground up
- Possesses a keen analytical ability to evaluate data and market trends to drive strategic decisions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating effective collaboration and negotiation
- Highly capable of managing multiple projects independently
