Senior Manager responsible for identifying and pursuing opportunities among US-based Japanese clients for Kroll. Involves business development, client relationship management, and forensic investigations.
Responsibilities
Business development – both brand-building and direct outreach - is the primary responsibility of this role.
Identifying and targeting new client groups and working with senior global leaders to develop a consistent and clear message for Kroll’s current Japanese client base.
Target and prospect Japanese client decision makers.
Identify and develop new opportunities (leads) for Japan Desk as well as Kroll U.S. teams.
Generate pipeline and deepen client relationships.
Broaden scope of business with existing corporate contacts and network.
Provide product/service demonstrations and advise potential clients of our value-add and lead to achievement of revenue goals business model.
Keep abreast of new market trends and methods and identify and win cross-sell opportunities.
Work with marketing resources to create effective localized marketing materials and to help organize and conduct marketing events that lead to revenue opportunities.
It is critical that the incumbent learn how to handle a broad range of primarily forensic investigation and intelligence projects.
Requirements
Experience in professional sales services, or within a consulting environment
Knowledge of investigative, intelligence, due diligence, compliance, digital forensics, or economic security matters a plus
Substantial experience working within a Japanese corporate environment
Strong understanding of the U.S. with insights on political, economic, regulatory and risk dynamics
Exemplary written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English.
Experienced in contract preparation, review and execution
Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to establish trust and credibility across the organization as well as external clients
Ability to work across multiple business lines
Flexibility, enthusiasm and strong interpersonal skills
Willingness to travel actively, nationally and internationally
