About the role

  • Senior IT Sales Engineer responsible for developing client portfolios and proposing tailored IT solutions. Engaging with strategic prospects and managing existing accounts in a dynamic IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and qualify incoming leads to maximize their conversion potential.
  • Identify and engage high-potential prospects in strategic sectors.
  • Develop a network of referral partners and build strong relationships with key decision-makers and IT managers.
  • Manage and grow an existing client portfolio while identifying new opportunities.
  • Analyze client needs and propose tailored solutions adapted to their challenges.
  • Lead and contribute to responses to strategic requests for proposals (RFPs).
  • Present managed services and integration offerings with expertise and impact.
  • Lead negotiations to secure key contracts.
  • Work closely with technical teams to develop customized proposals.
  • Maintain regular follow-up with clients and prospects while providing clear, concise reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of proven experience in B2B IT services sales, with a demonstrated 'hunter' approach.
  • Proven expertise in prospecting and business development, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high-stakes contracts.
  • Strong technical-commercial understanding of information technologies, with expertise in IT infrastructure (telecoms, networks, systems, telephony, cybersecurity).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively with company executives and key decision-makers.
  • Self-driven and able to manage time effectively to proactively achieve sales objectives.
  • Results-oriented, highly motivated to exceed sales targets and drive portfolio growth.
  • A higher education degree in computer science, business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong appetite for technology, with a fast ability to adapt and learn new IT solutions.
