Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
Solid understanding and hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Prior experience with big data technologies and distributed computing (such as Apache Spark, EMR, Databricks, etc)
Good grasp of SQL and database technologies in general – we use TimescaleDB as one of our operational databases for ChargEye and Databricks as our main analytical platform
Some experience with CI/CD pipelines
Good overall understanding of basic software development practices (version control, documentation, code reviews, etc.)
Understanding of IaC and preferably some prior experience – we use Terraform but experience with other tools counts as well
Familiarity with GenAI technologies, large language models or AI-driven analytics in production data pipelines
Track record of continuous learning and curiosity
Skills that make you stand out: Prior experience with streaming analytics (Flink, Structured streaming in Spark, etc)
Experience with data modelling in IoT context
Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
