Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Prior experience with big data technologies and distributed computing (such as Apache Spark, EMR, Databricks, etc)
- Good grasp of SQL and database technologies in general – we use TimescaleDB as one of our operational databases for ChargEye and Databricks as our main analytical platform
- Some experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Good overall understanding of basic software development practices (version control, documentation, code reviews, etc.)
- Understanding of IaC and preferably some prior experience – we use Terraform but experience with other tools counts as well
- Familiarity with GenAI technologies, large language models or AI-driven analytics in production data pipelines
- Track record of continuous learning and curiosity
- Skills that make you stand out: Prior experience with streaming analytics (Flink, Structured streaming in Spark, etc)
- Experience with data modelling in IoT context
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
