About the role
- Data Engineer building and maintaining data platform solutions for clients at Dignify. Designing, developing, and optimising data models and pipelines with a focus on Google BigQuery.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in building, maintaining and modernising our data platform solutions for clients
- Design, develop and maintain data models and tables in Google BigQuery
- Build and manage data pipelines, APIs and data exports
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, data orchestration and workflows
- Optimize and renovate existing data pipelines and queries to improve performance, reliability and scalability
- Monitor data pipelines and workflows, including incident detection and alerting
- Ensure data solutions run efficiently and reliably in real‑world production environments
- Get hands-on with coding, testing, deploying and maintaining data solutions
- Work closely with data scientists, engineers and consultants within agile project teams
- Actively contribute to our DataOps practice, sharing knowledge and improving standards
Requirements
- Strong experience with Google BigQuery and SQL
- Experience with data orchestration, CI/CD and cloud-native data architectures
- Comfortable working with APIs, data exports and workflow automation
- Strong analytical skills and affinity with data-driven solutions
- Familiarity with data science concepts is a strong plus
- Used to working in agile teams and are a true team player
- Fluent in English and have a solid technical academic background
- European work permit required
