About the role
- Plant Controller managing financial statements and production costs at Kelvion. Collaborating with finance team for budget planning and KPI management in Nobitz.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with Accounting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Conducting actual vs. planned comparisons, variance analyses and profitability calculations in the production area
- Calculation and post-calculation of manufacturing costs and valuation of inventories
- Preparation and analysis of production KPIs
- Further development of controlling processes as well as cost and performance accounting
- Monthly group reporting
- Business partner for management and business units: advising on investment decisions, projects and optimization measures
- Responsibility for planning and controlling relevant KPIs
- Shaping digitalization and automation projects in controlling
- Acting as deputy for the Finance Director (m/f/d) during absences
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, ideally with a focus on Controlling, Finance or Accounting
- Several years of professional experience in production controlling or plant controlling
- Solid knowledge of cost accounting, costing and production processes
- Knowledge of accounting under IFRS / HGB
- Good written and spoken English
- Expert-level MS Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query; VBA desirable) and confident user of SAP (FI/CO, MM, PP, SD)
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., SAC, Power BI) for reporting and analysis
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and excellent communication skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented and structured working style with a high sense of responsibility
