About the role
- Indirect Procurement Manager leading procurement projects across the DACH region for veterinary care provider IVC Evidensia. Deliver measurable cost savings and collaborate with global teams for strategic supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement projects across indirect spend categories in the DACH region
- Deliver measurable cost savings and EBITDA improvements
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with group-wide objectives
- Run structured RFQs, tenders, and supplier negotiations
- Conduct data-driven spend and cost analyses to identify optimization opportunities
- Build and maintain strong, strategic supplier relationships
- Prepare clear business cases and present recommendations to regional management
- Ensure structured handover of contracts and savings initiatives to Operations and Finance after signature
- Collaborate closely with global procurement colleagues and functional stakeholders
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a comparable field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, consulting, or a commercial role
- Solid experience managing RFQs, tenders, and negotiations independently
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to prioritize effectively and focus on value creation
- Confident communicator, able to present complex topics clearly and concisely
- Fluency in German and English
- Comfortable working in an international, matrix-driven organization
- Hands-on, pragmatic, and results-oriented working style
