Responsibilities
Lead and manage new construction and renovation projects in clinical and hospital environments
Project planning, cost and schedule monitoring, and quality assurance
Prepare reports and decision papers
Manage interfaces between internal specialist departments and external architects, planning firms, authorities, and executing contractors
Support public and direct-award procurements with negotiated procedures
Risk management and development of appropriate measures to safeguard projects
Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, guidelines and legal requirements
Manage project communication and provide regular reporting to the Head of Construction and Technical Services
Requirements
Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years (minimum 3 years) of professional experience coordinating complex construction projects, ideally in the hospital or healthcare sector
Solid knowledge of AHO booklet no. 9, HOAI, VOB, public procurement law (Vergaberecht) and building law requirements
Strong organizational and communication skills and very good German language skills (CEFR C1)
Confident user of MS Office applications
Assertiveness, a strong sense of responsibility and a structured approach to work
Willingness to travel as required by construction projects
