About the role
- SVP Credit & Liquidity Risk developing and defining credit risk strategies for Uniper. Leading a team and managing clearing risk while securing global market access in energy trading.
Responsibilities
- Develop and define the credit risk strategy
- Manage clearing risk from a risk perspective
- Lead an expert team of credit risk and margining risk management professionals
- Secure global market access for various trading sectors
- Enable Treasury market access
- Develop and implement the risk strategy
- Identify, measure and recommend mitigating credit defaults
- Responsible for valuation and structuring of credit risk mitigation concepts
- Provide commercial support for Group wide projects
- Shape future direction of the team and drive decisions
Requirements
- University degree in natural sciences / engineering / finance
- Ideally at least 10 years relevant risk management experience
- Proven track record in leadership role within the Energy Trading / Banking industry
- Proven track record of valuation and structuring of complex legal credit risk mitigation concepts
- Experience in negotiating clauses in third-party contracts
- Capability to steer complex projects with various stakeholders
